Would rising interest rates affect your asset allocation?

The biggest and strongest index bull markets have transitioned into the biggest and most brutal bear markets upon the switching of loose to tight monetary policy (See Japan 1989 and US 1929).

Would this fact affect your capital allocation in the event of the Fed entering into a less accommodative cycle when it comes to supporting the stock market?
