Lots of people talking about inflation rates being at those of 1982

And extrapolating from this how we should be making bets on pretty much anything that can be fit into a narrative of an inflation hedge.

Not many people talking about what happened to inflation and interest rates after 1982.

But it would imply a very different kind of bet is suitable ...
